Wyatt turns three!

I can't believe how fast my little man is growing!  He is such an awesome boy, and I sure do love having a boy!  That said, he is ALL BOY, ALL the time!  Everything is trucks, dirt, bikes and bugs.  He has the most darling (and loud!) personality....in such a little body.  So lucky to have him.  We had a great day celebrating him turning 3, he was thrilled to pick out his CARS cake this year....as long as Lightning McQueen was on it we were in good shape.  Wyatt was spoiled by all of our friends and family, the day could not have been any better.  He sure is going to be an amazing big brother to this little guy.
love, love, love these two!

Happy 3rd Birthday cowboy!

Preschool Graduation

Emerson graduated from pre-k in May!  She loved every minute of preschool, and will miss Joyful Mission Preschool dearly.  Lucky for me, Wyatt starts there this fall....so we won't be too far.  In just 2 years of preschool, she came so far and learned so much.  We were sad to say goodbye, but very excited for her next step as a kindergartener.   One of Emmy's preschool friends, Brooke will be in her kindie class which we are thrilled about.  It will be great to know a familiar face in a big new school!

Birthday Girl

Our baby girl is 5?!!!  How can that be?  We had a wonderful day celebrating Emerson's 5th birthday with friends and family.  Luckily the weather was a perfect spring Colorado day, so we were outside the majority of the party.  Emerson got great gifts, lots of crafting items....she is in heaven.   Emerson is a beautiful and spunky little 5 year old, her personality is one of a kind (or maybe 2?...since she is a mirror image of me on personality!).  We love this girl so very much!

Easter

We had a beautiful Easter Sunday this year.  Steve and I hosted his family and my brother Brad...Adam was still living in Breck and my parents were out of town.  Steve smoked a pork shoulder and we spent the majority of the day outside playing.  The kids enjoyed their Easter baskets and hunting for eggs before church.  Wyatt ate every piece of candy in sight...probably why he was a disaster in church...or maybe he's just a typical nearly 3 year old boy!!!

typical....

Albuquerque

We had a nice long weekend away to visit Steve's parents down in NM.  They were down at their home down there for a few weeks, so we decided to pack up and enjoy the 80 degree weather they were having.

**note, taking a newly potty trained little boy on a 6+ hour road trip was not ideal!!!

Tooth Fairy

Thats right!  The tooth fairy visited our home the night of March 7th.  Emerson had her 2 bottom teeth extracted as her "big" teeth were coming in behind the baby ones, making it so the baby ones would never loosen or fall out on their own.   I was scared she would freak out at the dentist...was I wrong!  This little girl is tough, did not shed one tear and was thrilled that the tooth fairy came times two.  Now you can't even tell she lost two teeth, her adult bottom teeth are nearly in and look great.

Home and Garden Show

Steve and Castlewood once again did an amazing garden this year at the Denver H&G Show.  The kids and I love going to see his creations every year...he never disappoints.

love these goofballs!
