Before and After....

We did it! We had our kitchen cabinets painted an off white color and love, love, love them! Who would have thought that 25 year old cabinets could look so good! It makes the new island we put in last year look amazing too. I just ordered a pendant light to go above the island...cant wait to have that installed to finish off the "new" kitchen. Along with the kitchen we also had the bar, powder bath, jack & jill bath and master bath cabinets done. This project only took the company one week to complete....it's like a new house here! We have done SO much work to this house of ours over the last 7 years of living here, but this remodel (besides finishing the basement) has been the biggest visual change. Steve and I both are so happy with the end result. And you know me, I always love a little decorating project (hey I am a stay-at-home mom!!), so I have a few more ideas that I am throwing on Steve now that this project came out so well :)!!!!

blue jean baby

Wyatt is now 5 months old! He is learning to sit up....tips over within a minute. He is constantly chewing on anything and everything he can get his mouth on, but no teeth yet. He eats baby food now and is solely on formula! I nursed this little dude for 5 months and my body could not keep up with his eating! We are all a lot happier on formula, with this change and him now eating solids I can FINALLY say Wyatt is sleeping through the night! YAAHHOOO! This is big for me....Emmy slept through the night at about 3 months old, so these last 2 months have been trying with my little Wy-Wy. He is such a calm and happy little guy (if his tummy is full!). When he gets mad, he shows it. Not only does he turn bright red and scream, he also thrust his body and arches his back....hmmm Mom and Dad wonder where is got that one?? :)

Girlie Girl

Emerson likes anything and everything GIRL! And I LOVE IT! She loves hair bows, necklaces, boots, hats and now - silly bands! I caught her jumping on my bed with her beret hat on and a wrist full of silly bands! Whats a girl to do?.....

food, food, food

Wyatt is now eating solids....and can-not-get-enough! He is my eater that is for sure! We started him a few weeks ago on baby oatmeal and now he also has had fruits and veggies. He is eating food twice a day and has a bunch of milk bottles in between. He is happy when his tummy is full, and when Wyatt is happy...Mommy is happy.

Fall Festivities

We have had a busy fall here at our household! The weather in CO right now is amazing 60-70 degree days still....and tomorrow is November! I love living here! We were able to take the kids to a few fall festivals this year with friends and family. Emerson had so much fun this year celebrating! My mom is a teacher and her elementary school puts on the "Creekside Carnival" every year. The kids wear their costumes, play games, get prizes, eat pizza....Emmy could not get enough.

We went with our good friends, The Kinley's to the Chatfield pumpkin patch this year....Emmy and Ayden had a blast running around and picking out their pumpkins. Well, I guess the dads picked those out....these 2 just had fun being kids.

With the Jenner family we went to Flat Acres Farm here in Parker for some more fall fun. At the farm, Emmy enjoyed the petting zoo, duck race, jump castle, caramel corn and just being outside on yet another beautiful day.

We are gearing up for Halloween tonight....so I will post many more pictures of that and the kids in their glory.

On a side note....Steve and I were able to sneak away to Cabo this week for a few days without the kiddies (thanks Mom and Dad!). We went down their with our great friends JR and Andrea....it was a very memorable trip and we look forward to our next one!
