Steamboat Springs

We took a little vacation with my family to Steamboat....Brad was in town from AK, Adam made it from Ft. Collins, it could not have been a better time for us all!  We rented a beautiful house big enough for us all....lots of time together was just what we all needed.  The kids loved having their uncles their to spoil them....well, Nana and Papa too!  It was so nice to just get away....

Emmy with 2 of her biggest fans....Nana and Papa

Steve wants her ready to board!  Boa purse and all...

We all went out for ice cream and found a little band playing in the courtyard.  Emerson could not help but dance, good thing Uncle Brad was there to help her out. Could they be any cuter?  You know, God-father and God-daughter.....

We took a short hike to Fish Creek Falls, hiking with a 3 year old does not really work.  Well, it may but my 3 year old is a sassy pants and does not like hiking one bit....so this mama got to carry her!  Luckily Wyatt was in the pack with Steve.  The boys all continued on the trail to Upper Fish Creek Falls, they returned a few hours later rejuvinated!  Well, maybe not Grandpa!

There is a story behind the next series of photo's.  Lots of Emerson, well you see this is what happens when I ask her if I can take her picture.  Stinker.  This girl has more opinions and personality in that little body.  She eventually cooperated and I think I got a few good ones of her, she sure is beautiful....when she wants to be :)!

I could eat Wyatt up here!  He is the cutest baby.

We promised Emmy that we would take her to the Alpine slides.  Well, we tried to go Sunday night but the weather turned and there was rain.  So as we packed up Monday morning that was all she could talk about.  So before our 4 hour journey home we took Emmy to the slides, she loved it.  She went last summer in Breck, and loved it just as much in Steamboat!  My girl has no fear at all.....now Wyatt, he's another story.

Botanical Gardens

The kids and I spent the morning wandering the Denver Botanical Gardens with Andrea and her new sidekick, baby Sullivan.  It was a hot day, but Emerson had a blast running around the gardens and discovering the children's garden.  Wyatt did so well and just stayed put in the stroller taking everything in.  Summertime is so wonderful.

4th of July

4th of July did not disappoint this year!  We spent the day at my parents pool with lots of friends!  The kids loved the water, Wyatt especially!  I think he spent a couple hours in there with Steve just hanging out.  I was terrible about pictures...oops!  None of the hot mama's or Emerson for that matter!  We were lucky to have JR and Andrea come....can you get over how adorable baby Sully is at just 3 weeks old!?

sweet Wyatt

I love walking into Wyatt's room every morning to get him up....can you see why?  This sweet baby is full of so many smiles, love and happiness....it makes me melt.  Wyatt is still growing before our eyes, 13 months and counting now.  We love every ounce of him!  He is still a mama's boy, but prefers Steve a lot of the time now....it is so cute.
