Children's Museum

A friend and I took our kids to the Denver Children's Museum today....I could not resist these cute pictures of my mad scientists and beautiful firefighter.

our ballarina

Emerson started ballet and tap class last week and to say she loves it is an understatement!  I have to hide her ballet/tap shoes as well as her outfit or she would be in it daily...really!  She is such a doll in class and I love to watch her attentively listen to her teacher and try so hard.  She is doing so well and loves to show Steve and I all of her dance moves.  This coming June she will be in the show The Little Mermaid with her class....I can hardly wait!

Wyatt could not pass up this opportunity.

Aquarium

We visited the aquarium with some friends....the kids love seeing all the fish and maybe a mermaid or two!

Christmas Eve and morning

We went to church on Christmas Eve as we always do and the kids did really good!  Wyatt lasted for 3/4 of the service before begin escorted out by daddy :).  My parents made an amazing traditional seafood spread, just delicious!  We woke up Christmas morning at home to see what Santa had brought....the kids were spoiled and very thankful for what they got.  We played all morning with all of the new toys before hosting Christmas dinner for 15 people....our home was filled with family and friends which is what this time of year is all about.

Ready for church....minus Wyatt's slippers of course!

present time at Nana and Papa's....with Uncle Brad

Strawberry Shortcake dolls...enough said!

Christmas morning....a bit of a blur

tree trimming

We changed things up a bit this year and tried a new National Forrest area to cut our tree.  We went to an area outside of Conifer, much closer....but not the same as Winter Park.  I don't think we will be back to this area again, just wasn't the same.  Possibly because there was NO snow!?  Weird!  Luckily a few weeks after we cut our tree, the snow came and came and came!

SO typical...

L.O.V.E.

We found "our" tree.

Ta-da

A movie date....

Emmy and I saw Rise of the Guardians...in 3D.  Love this girl more than words.

Happy Thanksgiving 2012

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family at my parents house this year and spent Thanksgiving weekend in Estes Park with Steve's family.  It was a great celebration....lots of food, family and FUN!
