Before and after

We updated our tv and entertainment center....what a difference it has made to our family room!  Saying we love it is an understatement.  We had a contractor build us a new "built in" entertainment center to house our new tv and all its fixings.  I was thrilled about the built in and Steve about the tv, but now that it is said and done, I think I love the tv as much as he does!  We had an original built in book case in the family room, but once we put the new stone and mantle on the fireplace a few years ago, I started thinking that that bookshelf and monster floor tv needed to go.  Our family room looks much bigger which is a huge bonus.  Out with the old and in with the new....

Fun Run

Emerson participated in her elementary schools fun run in August....what a blast!  It was a hot morning (poor pregnant mama!), but my girl did so well!  All the kindie's marched on the field with their classes and her class was Ms. Cornelius' cheetahs....so they all had cheetah sunglasses.  Adorable!  And let me tell you, in the mile that Emerson ran...those glasses never came off!  The kickoff song was, "Who let the dogs out"... I was rolling and now Wyatt can't stop singing it.

so cute!

Emmy with a few classmates and her awesome teacher, Ms. Cornelius!

Wyatt goes to preschool!

Wy is such a big boy!  He attends preschool two mornings a week and stays for lunch bunch on Tuesdays after school.  He loves it.  Everything from wearing his backpack to carrying his Lightning McQueen lunchbox!  On his first day he walked right in and would not look back at me....even for a kiss to say good bye.  I just showed myself to the door....that's how I would prefer it anyway.  Nothing beats an independent little one.  He is the cutest and can not wait to be a big brother!!!

Soccer STUD

My little Wyatt is playing on a mini-mite soccer team this fall, and it is the cutest thing!  He loves it, except when someone takes the ball from him and then he pouts (and runs over to Steve and I on the sidelines).   He is such a boy and just enjoys anything outdoors and sports.  He is thrilled its Bronco season....little man can throw a football too.
