dancing with Emmy

Every Tuesday after preschool Emmy has a dance class that she attends at her school....an extracurricular activity of sorts.  She thinks it is so much fun, loves to dance and hang with her BFF Kelly.  So this past Tuesday parents were allowed to come at the end of class to see their Teddy Bear dance routine.  It was adorable, of course Wyatt was a disaster as we were trying to watch and wanted to be a part of the routine too.  So, my picture taking abilities were a little skewed!

Bathtime is a big deal at our house.  The kids love their baths and Steve and I have a pretty good time watching them.  Wyatt would prefer to walk laps in the bathtub if I'd let him, and Emmy likes to swim...and rinse her hair!.  These two would make a monsoon out of their bathroom if I let them!!!

We enjoyed a quick trip to Albuquerque, NM this past weekend for a little family getaway.  My in laws have a darling vacation town home down there that we were able to use.  We went to Old Town and Madrid for lunches and window shopping.  Also took the kiddies to the Hot Air Balloon Museum, Aquarium and Botanical Gardens.  I did not get many pics of our great weekend, but a few of Emmy at the gardens.....

Even though the Rams lost to the Buffs this year, our lil CSU Rams did not disappoint!  Emerson is challenged when I ask her to smile nicely for the camera, I am sure this will eventually change....but for now, enjoy the goofballs!

Wyatt is a shy guy!  He is a little lover, needs is mama and dada so much, loves to be held and snuggle.  It is the BEST!  His personality is so chill just like Steve's, but he has a little fiery side like me.  Our days here are filled with laughter, screaming and of course tears.  He and Emerson have a love/hate relationship....hence the laughter and tears!  I feel like someone is always crying or screaming for a toy.  Oh well, I wouldn't change a thing.  Enjoy my little guy....and seriously is his outfit not the cutest?  I love dressing my little buddy.

Summertime

We have done a lot of playing in our yard this summer with the kids, more than we ever have.  It has been so wonderful to watch them play with their toys and enjoy the beautiful yard Steve has created.  Wyatt is walking like a pro now.  He truly is the cutest thing ever, his ways are so sweet....boy do we love him!  Emerson is our little firecracker and tests us daily, luckily we always come out on top but sometimes that is easier said than done!  She at such a fun age and her vocabulary is amazing.  We find ourselves just laughing at her, the things she comes up with are priceless!
